7 days of glaciers, Fitz Roy and long trails, with a photographer alongside_7 days of glaciers, Fitz Roy and long trails, with a photographer alongside
Patagonia through its classic routes: Perito Moreno Glacier, Laguna de los Tres, Laguna Torre, and other equally striking trails. This trip is for people who want more than a quick look. It’s Patagonia in motion, step by step.
Seven days with a small group of like-minded travelers: serious physical activity, local food and huge landscapes, with a photographer alongside. You stay present, and the visual story of the trip unfolds on its own.
We take nothing but memories and leave nothing but footprints.
Lots of physical activity and early starts make it challenging. The views deserve it.
1 night in El Calafate and 5 nights in El Chaltén, in comfortable rooms. Single occupancy is available for an extra $900.
Laguna de los Tres

Where we go

Our first stop and the starting point. We explore the town on foot, try guanaco and the calafate berry the town is named after. Then Perito Moreno: we walk the trails around it and get closer by boat. Seeing a glacier is impressive. Hearing blocks of ice crash into the water is unforgettable.

A tiny village with a huge reputation: the hiking capital of Argentine Patagonia, at the foot of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. We spend most of the trip here, alternating lighter hikes with demanding routes. The weather is famously unpredictable, so we adapt the schedule to keep it spectacular and safe.

The signature hike, and a serious one. The last kilometer is steep. We start at night to reach the lagoon for sunrise: breakfast with Fitz Roy above an emerald lake. 20–25 km for the day, trekking poles provided.

Mountains, forests, rivers, valleys, waterfalls and glaciers in a single hike. Another early start for sunrise at the glacier lake, then a hearty dinner back in El Chaltén to celebrate.

A different rhythm. We ride across the open steppe on paths gauchos have used for generations, to a traditional estancia with Fitz Roy in the distance. Firelight, simple music, a real Patagonian dinner.
Day by day
Airport pickup and hotel transfer. We settle in, go over logistics and have dinner together.
A full day at the glacier: the walkways, its scale, movement and sound. Transfer to El Chaltén.
A short hike to get used to the terrain, the pace and the conditions.
Full-day hike: demanding, steep and highly rewarding, with Fitz Roy as the backdrop.
Long but steady hike through wide valleys to Laguna Torre, with glacier views and a calmer rhythm.
Riding across open land, then a gaucho-style dinner at a traditional estancia.
Transfer to the airport, with help for onward plans or a longer stay.
This trip is for you if
You enjoy being active and spending full days outdoors. Long walks, early starts, changing weather and real effort feel like part of the experience, not a problem.
You want to understand a place by moving through it, not just visiting viewpoints. Small groups, shared effort and conversations that happen naturally on the trail.
You’re traveling solo and want to meet like-minded people without forced bonding. And you see photography as a way of observing, not performing.
Meeting point
For every traveler on this trip we support reforestation in damaged areas of Patagonia. Somewhere down the line, a tree will grow because you were here. Move thoughtfully, leave the place better than we found it. No buzzwords.
Plan B first, then everything else
Want to keep going?
If seven days feel short, extend the trip after day 7:
A change of scenery: bikes along scenic roads and kayaking on the lake, surrounded by forests and mountains.
The southern edge of the continent. A boat trip to penguins, sea lions and bird colonies.
